What’s more romantic than a bright bottle of bubbly? Tis the weekend for amore, and coincidentally, it’s also Erin’s birthday, so she gets to pick her sparkling of choice for this weekend’s sipper.
Pol Roger is one of Erin’s favourite champagnes, and as you can likely tell in the above photo, which was clearly not taken in today’s -30℃ temps, Mr. Roger has had a tendency over the years to make an appearance during our celebrations both small and large.
One of the best value champagnes out there, Pol Roger is consistently delicious, elegant and fresh for dangerously easy drinking … that in some cases has led to spontaneous dancing. And thankfully, the champers makes us excellent dancers.

With a yeasty nose of lemon, pie dough, and wild flowers, the bubbles tickle the tongue with precision and focus while flavours of chamomile, lemon curd, brioche and a tangy, pink grapefruit finish are bright and clean, and a refreshing backbone of acidity gives energy and verve.
