Hard to go wrong with a snappy, bright Chianti under $15 (ok, 5¢ under, but who’s counting?) A nose of red cherry, pomegranate and light spice, the palate is fresh with red currant, cherry and raspberry mixing with fresh, wild herbs. A bitter-tart cran-cherry finish, soft tannins and vibrant acidity. Pass the pizza.
