This is a great little sipper – at an even better price! If you grab it before Sunday, you can take advantage of the $2 off sale, but next week, this California Chard (which actually has nearly 25% other white grapes in the final blend) is still fairly priced at $11.95. With aromas of yellow apple and pear, with some citrus and vanilla and sweet oak notes. The palate is medium bodied and fresh, with flavours echoing the nose. Try alongside herb roast chicken, pasta carbonara, or creamy seafood chowder.
